U.S. Economy Slowed, Fed Doesn't Care. Market Risk Into Wednesday

Since the last Fed meeting in March, US CPI as well as jobs growth have slowed. Surprisingly, CPI went negative on the last reading and March nonfarm payrolls seriously underperformed estimates. Yet even with these two key economic factors dropping, the Fed doesn’t care. They remain full steam ahead with their original plan for three rate hikes this year.
